Veracruz is the tourist spot where Mexicans come for vacations and holidays. Souvenirs are available everywhere—in small shops, in booths on the malecon, and on the display boards of tricycles. The flavors and tastes of these souvenirs are definitely Mexican, and they become wonderful cultural remembrances.

Old traditional dress, well-made and beautiful, is available in a number of shops along with mariachi uniforms, highly decorative sombreros, and woven items. Fine quality, highly artistic jewelry and gifts are available in shops in several of the up-scale malls. 

Folk art is sold by walking vendors and in the crafts markets. Old style Mexican furnishings are easy to find and shipping will be arranged for you.
